Locals Act as Celebrity Waiters for Longhorn Project Fundraiser

Paula Tomasi and Joanna Baleson, Clear Creek ISD Trustees, joined in the fun at the Longhorn Project Celebrity Waiter Event at Texas Road House. The proceeds will pay for the completion of the aquaculture ponds and expansion of the agricultural component of the project.

LEAGUE CITY, Texas—Local dignitaries tied on aprons and became celebrity waiters at a recent fund raiser for the Clear Creek Independent School District/NASA Longhorn Project. The project is a part of CASE—Center for Agriculture, Science, and Engineering.

The Celebrity Waiter event raised $19,000 April 25 at the Texas Road House in Friendswood. The proceeds will pay for the completion of the aquaculture ponds and expansion of the agricultural component of the project.
