CCISD Trustee Glenn Brown Elected to Leadership Position

Glenn Brown, President of the Clear Creek Independent School District Board of Trustees has been elected as a director on the executive board of the Gulf Coast Area Association of School Boards (GCAASB) for the 2005-2006 school year.

LEAGUE CITY, Texas—Clear Creek Independent School District Board of Trustees President Glenn Brown has been elected as a director on the executive board of the Gulf Coast Area Association of School Boards (GCAASB) for the 2005-2006 school year.

The GCAASB is a volunteer organization composed of more than 50 school boards in the Greater Houston area. The goal of the organization to enhance the quality of education for public school children in the Texas Gulf Coast area by providing education and information to local school boards and creating an opportunity for local school bards to impact legislation affecting the public schools.

GCAASB provides state-required training for local trustees at quarterly meetings, share best practices and support educational excellence at the local school level through a scholarship program.
