LEAGUE CITY, Texas—Clear View Education Center Class of 2005 earned more than $86,000 in scholarships. Clear View has 54 students who will be graduation at 7 p.m., May 26 at Webster Intermediate School.

During the May 9 awards banquet, the following nine students received recognition for being named Texas Scholars: Jackie Ainbinder, Annabelle Carter, Liz Filer, Samantha Gray, Allanah Jackson, Mathew Oliver, Kayla Simoneaux, Michael Allison and Jessica Birch. In addition, awards for the top 10 percent were given to Jackie Anibinder, Allanah Jackson, Stacey Kilgore, Britta Stange, Courtney McDougal and Neal Muscovalley.

Clear View Education Center is a charter school for students who are academically at-risk and in need of additional one-on-one teacher interaction in a smaller classroom environment. Clear View’s philosophy is that all children can learn when they are provided the appropriate environment that meets their educational, emotional and social needs. In most instances there is a 30 to 40 percent increase in the student’s grade point average.
