Religion: A Pastor PondersSomedayBy Pastor William Jenkins March 22, 2007
The difference in life is how we spend the time we have. Each of us is wired to respond to time differently. Some people are by nature procrastinators while others burn the candle at both ends. Somewhere in the vast middle is where most of us live. Our major flaw in relation to time is to assume that we will always have plenty of it. This isn’t so much procrastination as it is shortsightedness. I offer the following anonymous poem as a remedy for putting off the important things. There’s a loving letter I mean to send; There’s a dusty Bible I mean to read; I will carry flowers to the sick and sad; So we have thought and so we have said; Just a little something to ponder.
